As per the available statistics, the European Union has made significant progress in achieving some goals Such as SDG-Zero Hunger, which focuses on malnutrition, the sustainability of agricultural products, and their environmental impact. In Malnutrition, it has been observed that the number of people with obesity has increased. However, the goal of reducing inequalities and building just and inclusive institutions has shown improvement, as the levels of corruption are the lowest in Europe as compared to the rest of the world.
The Goals regarding Zero Hunger, gender inequality, Peaceful and inclusive institutions, reducing all forms of violence-related deaths, and nonkilling would be easy to achieve, due to the justice system and equal society in Europe.
The goal that should be focused on is goal 17, which relates to building the partnership for the goals. The SDG development goals are meant to save the collective future of humanity and are meant to get rid of inequalities, poverty, violence, and war, and envision a world where a life everyone is protected, respected, and not in danger. The EU is not performing well to achieve goal 17 of SDG goals. If the EU is emanating less carbon whereas carbon emission has significantly enhanced by other countries it is going to have no impact on the greenhouse effect and increasing warm temperatures as the whole world will be impacted. In another aspect with respect to Goal 16, which deals with relates to reducing the violence related deaths, EU is not performingÂ
its role such as efforts to stop the Israel-Palestine war, reduce hunger and famine in Palestine and all sorts of violence-related deaths going on. What do you think?
