Dear all,

As you know the materials for week 4 are now available on Moodle. This week’s focus is the second step of the Design Sprint, which involves defining the challenge that your group would like to tackle and formulate desired results. Additionally, you will identify the necessary actions, steps and actors involved in your challenge. In addition to these team tasks, you are expected to work individually, studying and practising vocabulary on negotiation and problem solving.

Please remember to take meeting minutes since you are expected to submit these and also remember to reflect on what you have done during the week in the learning journal. You will be asked to hand in by March 31 2024 (this Sunday) a meeting report which will contain the decisions that you took regarding your chosen challenge: see instructions for team meetings.

Schedule a meeting for week 5, anytime after Tuesday, April 2 Please confirm your mentor’s availability to attend, as they will provide feedback on your chosen challenge.

A heartfelt thank you to the 11 students who have completed the start-of-course questionnaire. For those who haven’t yet, please take a moment to do so (Link: https://neuchatel.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_ahmdUFRaV5Fbbq6). Your response is crucial, as it is the only way to officially opt-out of data collection. As you know, we are giving this course as a pilot and will rely on your journals and other outputs (anonymised, of course) to evaluate the course.

We hope that you enjoy your team meetings and that you are learning a lot! For those who can take a few days off, we wish you a joyful Easter season.

Best wishes,

Sara, Sarah and Jana
